Anton Health, Inc. ("Anton") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. By opting into our SMS/RCS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Scope and Relationship to Our Other Policies
This SMS/RCS Privacy Policy is specific to our text messaging program. It supplements, and should be read together with, our general Privacy Policy and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between this policy and those policies regarding our SMS/RCS messaging practices, this policy controls for those practices. For all other matters, including how we collect, use, share, and protect your health-related information more broadly, our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy govern.
1. Data Collection
We collect your name and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS/RCS messages through one of the following methods:
- Visiting myanton.org
- Visiting www.MyAnton.care
- Scanning a QR code which directs them to the STI test kit request form
- Texting one of our opt-in keywords (KIT, HEY, ANTON, or START) to our number
We may also collect message delivery and interaction data such as timestamps and delivery status to improve our messaging service.
Our test kit program and messaging service are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal or health-related information from anyone under 18. The minimum age is 18 and requests from minors are not processed.
2. Data Usage
We use your data solely for sending reminders and updates related to your free STI test kit request and any telehealth appointment you book with us, including intake completion reminders, shipping notifications, appointment booking confirmations, and appointment reminders sent before a scheduled visit. Your data will not be used for any other purpose, including marketing of unrelated products or services. We will never use your information beyond what is described in this policy.
3. Data Security
Your data is protected through encryption and secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access. We use industry-standard security protocols and work only with trusted service providers who maintain equivalent security standards. Our messaging practices are designed to comply with applicable regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Where applicable, we follow HIPAA guidelines to protect any health-related information.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our messaging service. Upon opting out, your phone number will be removed from our messaging list within 24 hours. You may request complete deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at help@myanton.care.

5. Opt-Out
You can unsubscribe at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP to any message you receive from us
- Email us at help@myanton.care with the subject line "Unsubscribe"
After unsubscribing, you will receive a one-time confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
6. Non-Sharing Clause
We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS/RCS opt-in data or phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is only shared with our messaging service provider (Twilio) to enable secure message delivery. Twilio is contractually obligated to keep your information secure and only use it to provide messaging services on our behalf.
7. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your intake completion status and any appointments you schedule. For your test kit request, you may receive a maximum of 4 messages, sent over a period of approximately 7 days, and not more than 2 messages per week. If you book a telehealth appointment, you may also receive a booking confirmation and up to 3 reminder messages per appointment, sent approximately 24 hours, 1 hour, and 30 minutes before your visit. You can manage appointment reminders at any time in the Anton app, or reply STOP to opt out of all messages.
8. Msg & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text or data plan.
9. Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier.

11. Legal Compliance
Our SMS/RCS messaging practices are designed to comply with applicable federal and state regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) guidelines. Where applicable, we adhere to HIPAA requirements for the protection of health-related information.

A link to this privacy policy is included in our initial opt-in confirmation message and is available at any time at https://legal.myanton.org/sms-privacy.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated revision date. Continued use of our messaging service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
